Very cold conditions greeted anglers for the latest match at Shiplate Farm, Bleadon.
VERY cold breezy weather dominated PSV’s match on Hawthorns and Westpool at Shiplate Farm, Bleadon, at the weekend.
Fish did not want to feed in these extreme conditions, but the anglers that did weigh in, had bags dominated by carp. Maggot was the favoured bait by most of the match anglers.
Results: Matt Taynton (peg 5) Westpool, 21lb 2oz; Alan Healey (peg 13) Hawthorns, 8lb 4oz; Ryan Radford (peg 11) Westpool, 6lb 11oz.
Adam Smith enjoyed a well-deserved win at the Keynsham match on the Hawthorns on another cold day.
Results: Adam Smith (peg 11), 34lb 10oz; Nigel Bateman (peg 15), 10lb 12oz; Dave Weaver (peg 12), 9lb 5oz.
