Weston Netball Club’s third team registered a convincing victory against rivals Worle.
WESTON Netball Club’s third team secured a convincing victory over old rivals Worle, taking the match 50-34.
The defence were on form, with Suse Vicarage and Denise Garfield putting lots of pressure on Worle’s shooters to force some stunning interceptions. Anna Difazio, Mandy Coe, Charlotte Humpfries and Eleanor Hodges worked well together throughout the centre court to bring the ball down to shooters Jo Bliss and player of the match Sadie Sjogren.
Jo and Sadie dominated Weston’s attacking circle, refusing to let Worle’s defence upset their flow.
It has been tough for the team this season due to a shortage of players in the club, but they have never let this get them down and continued to work hard in training.
