THE Somerset Cricket Board will be running courses for both umpires and scorers in the New Year.
THE Somerset Cricket Board will be running courses for both umpires and scorers in the New Year.
The umpire’s course will be held at Weston Cricket Club on February 13 and 20 from 10am-4pm. This course is suitable for complete beginners or those who wish to improve their skills.
The scorer’s course will be at the County Ground, Taunton on January 12, 19 and 26, and February 2 and 9, from 6-9pm. This course is also suitable for complete beginners or those who wish to improve their skills.
The cost of both the umpire’s and scorer’s courses is just �50, which
includes course tuition, law book, free 12 months membership of the
ECBACO and free 12 months insurance.
