Craig George, aged 13, has recently gained his land yachting pilot’s licence.
CRAIG George from Watchfield, near Highbridge, has recently gained his land yachting pilot’s licence at the age of 13.
This means he can now compete on a national level. In his first-ever club race on Brean beach he came second overall, competing against experienced club members.
Land yachting is an exhilarating sport which takes advantage of Brean’s long sandy beach to reach speeds of up to 60mph.
