Lympsham Airways cruised to an eight-wicket victory over Weston in the Weston Midweek League.

In Division 1 of the Proper Job Weston & District Midweek League, several Weston batsmen got into double figures, but none went on to play a big innings against Lympsham Airways.

Sam McCrea took 2-7 and Nil Chatterjee 2-20 as they were all out for 82. When Airways batted, Neil Chadwick made 22, but Gabriel Counsell top scored with 44 not out to see his side to an eight-wicket win.

In Division 2 against Burnham, a very young Winscombe team had their average age greatly boosted by the presence of the ageless Julian Stephens, who not only managed to walk to the wicket unaided, but top scored with 29 in a total of 86 all out.

Pete Harris took 3-7 and Andy Birkett 2-14. In reply, Burnham lost two early wickets before Kevin Carson made 31 not out as they coasted to an eight-wicket win.
