BELVEDERE completed the double over Mark with a comprehensive victory. After winning the toss and choosing to bat, Belvedere's batsman all continued their good form on a slow, low wicket. Neil Chadwick and Aaron Mott looked comfortable, putting on 77 for the first wicket before Mott was bowled by Taylor for 24. Chadwick soon reached his 50 courtesy of his third six, but fell for 68 when Coleman found the outside edge and Edwards took the catch. Belvedere skipper Dave Holland and Gary Gullick batted with great discipline, ensuring the impressive run rate was maintained. Gullick was caught in the deep for 34 and Holland bowled by Moxey for 37, but by this stage maximum batting points had been gained. Ian Tasker continued his impressive form with an excellent 42 not out as Belvedere's innings finished on 255-5.Mark's reply got off to the worst possible start as Brian Hosey dismissed Gibb and Matt Huxtable had Moxey caught by Gullick and Ollerenshaw well held by Mott. Skipper Holland brought himself on and dismissed Coleman in his first over leaving the home side's reply in tatters on 37-4. Holland made another inspired bowling change as Dave Taylor removed English as the fifth wicket fell with the score on 55. Opening batsman Lloyd and Taylor offered stubborn resistance, putting on 48 for the sixth wicket until Holland returned to bowl Taylor and then remove Hodgkinson next ball. Taylor finished off the Mark innings as Ray Dibben made two stumpings and held a fine catch as Mark were bowled out for 110.Tasker Printers man of the match went to Dave Holland for a fine all-round performance.
