Burnham run out easy winners in midweek league

Burnham defeated Paragon Carriers by 44 runs in the Proper Job Weston & District Midweek League.

In Division 2 of the Proper Job Weston & District Midweek League, James Annison top scored with 48 and Brett Diver contributed 39 as Burnham totalled an impressive 184-8 against the Parpagon Carriers.

In reply, A Hayward made 71, but the Carriers fell 44 runs short of their target with Jim Birkett claiming 2-18 and Daz Aston 3-28.
