NK Sports too good for Locking

NK Sports defeated Locking Castle by two wickets in the Weston Midweek League.
IN Division 1 of the Weston Midweek League, Andy Brooks and A Lansley both starred with bat and ball as NK Sports edged to victory over Locking Castle.
Brooks picked up 3-18 and Lansley 4-27 as Locking Castle made 120-8. Lansley then top scored with 43 and Brooks contributed 33 as the Sports replied with 123-8, despite Morsen taking 4-23.
Dave Luff made 92 and Jamie Howson 85 as Lympsham Airways racked up an impressive 231-4. Simon Green led the Strollers reply with 49 before Sophie Luff (4-16), and Simon Cowgill (4-4), decimated the rest of the innings to leave the Airways comfortable winners.
Mark Higgs top scored with 46 as East Huntspill posted 144-4 against Locking Castle. Harry Wiseman top scored with 50, but the reply was restricted to 121-6.
In Division 2, the Parpagon Carriers reduced the Coach House to 1-3 following a hat-trick by Jag Wijerathna, before Brett Diver with 78 not out and Dave Mitchell’s 67 enabled them to reach 149-6. The Carriers reply was based around 59 by Ashleigh Joyner, but Dan Evans claimed 3-24 as the Coach House held on for a six-run victory.
Kevin Crocket top scored with an invaluable 39 as Belvedere were dismissed for 129 against Mark, with Neil Coleman taking 3-29. D Worthington scored 54 as Mark chased victory, but ultimately they fell just three runs short on 126-5.
The Presidents are normally involved in close finishes, but this time were on the wrong end of a 10 wicket defeat by the Windsor Castle. Dave Holland top scored with 36 as the Presidents were all out for 82 with S Cassidy taking 4-4. Matt Kearsey with 69 not out and Bernie Lovett (17 not out) completed the job.
