Strollers defeated East Huntspill by just two runs in the Proper Job Midweek League.

In Division 1 of the Proper Job Midweek League, Simon Green with 40 and Jack Press with 38 scored the bulk of the runs as the Strollers posted a relatively modest total of 110-6 against East Huntspill.

However, even with Singh following up his 2-13 with 52 and Edwards making 22, this total proved sufficient as Wilf Huxtable took 3-26 and Gary Tester 2-18 to leave Huntspill two runs short.

In Division 2, The Parpagon Carriers achieved a somewhat overdue first win of the season with an 18-run victory over Wedmore.. Ashleigh Joyner made 56 not out and David Morris 24 as the Carriers totalled 142-4.

In reply, Macarthur made 38 and Hawthorne 31 not out, but their efforts proved insufficient as Wedmore finished on 124-7.

L Grant continued his good form as he scored 56 for the Cleeve Ducks as they achieved a total of 122-8 against Cleeve. Kelston Crew followed up his 4-18 with 15 not out and Connor Hance finished on 20 not out as Cleeve registered a five-wicket win with T Chambers taking 2-16.
