The Strollers came out on top in a double header against Lympsham Airways in the Proper Job Weston Midweek League.
In a Proper Job Weston Midweek League and cup double-header, Lympsham Airways totalled 131-6 against Strollers, with Dave Luff top scoring with 33.
As usual, Simon Green ensured that the Strollers started their reply positively by scoring a fluent 58 to put his side up with the required rate, but it was not until the penultimate ball that victory was achieved for the loss of five wickets.
In the Strollers league encounter with Lympsham Allsorts, Green was once again in the runs, scoring 46 out of a total of 111-4. Jamie Howson dominated the Allsorts reply by scoring an unbeaten 71 to secure a six-wicket win, with Gary Tester taking 2-8.
In Division 2, in the top of the table clash between leaders Wedmore and second-placed Uphill Castle, it was Wedmore who prevailed by 19 runs.
Sidney Morris scored 53 and Ian Harris 32 in their total of 154-7. Sam Frost followed up his 2-39 with 58, but with Sam Blackmore taking 2-31 and Alfie Lavender claiming four victims at a cost of just five runs, the target proved just too much.
