The Tonkerfest held in aid of Peter Trego’s benefit year was a big hit for players and supporters.

TONKERFEST, held in aid of Peter Trego’s benefit year, proved a huge success at Weston and Uphill Cricket Club.

In both groups, all teams finished on two points each, so a bowl-out followed on both grounds. Weston beat Luke Bliss’ XI in one semi-final and Dyrham and Hinton beat Uphill Castle in the other.

In the final played at Weston, the hosts won by 15 runs. Peter Trego would also like to thank all supporters and both clubs for their support on a great day’s cricket.

Thanks also go to all the sponsors: Grand Pier, Wookey Hole, InTouch, Chill Out Zone, Ray’s Driving School, Harris & Lee, Standbetter, Darrell’s Butchers and Weston Golf Club.
