Weston Crusaders Under-12s beat Portishead 2-0 in blustery conditions.

WESTON Crusaders Under-12s entertained Portishead in blustery conditions and took all three points.

After a scrappy start, they started to take a stranglehold on the game with Reece hitting the bar and Ben, Joel and Snedds causing problems down the flanks.

An early change saw James race through and provide a good cross for Lewis to tuck away the first goal.

Both teams worked hard to keep possession, but the home side started to exert further pressure in the second half with Reece, Churchill and Lewis going close. James was put through by Ethan and managed to force home a second to ensure Crusaders took all three points.

Charlie, Blondie and Harry were rarely troubled at the back, despite plenty of effort from the away side as Crusaders continued their winning run.

Man of the match sponsored by Wayne Coombes Decorating was Ben Griffiths.
