Dave Cockayne won the latest open match at Shiplate Farm Fisheries.
AN OPEN match was held on the Westpool and the Hawthorn lakes at Shiplate Farm Fisheries in dry and mild conditions.
The 21 anglers competed for top prize overall and on each lake. Dave Cockayne on peg 15 (Westpool) fished meat on a pole to the left margin, while feeding meat. He bagged up to take overall prize with 98lb 2oz, closely followed by Andy France on peg 13 (Westpool) with 94lb 4oz.
Results: Dave Cockayne (p15W) 98lb 2oz; Andy France (p13W 94lb 4oz); Lewis Jones (p12W 76lb 4oz); Steve Howell (p1H 70lb); Nick Harvey (p7H 55lb 2oz). Silvers went to Johnny Page (p2W) 12lb 5oz and Gordon Jones (p15H) 10lb 14oz.
