Steve Howell on peg 10 weighed in 22lb 11oz, followed by Julian Pinkett on peg seven with 22lb 2oz and Ritchie Hawkins on peg nine with 21lb 6oz. Section winners were Roy Ede (peg 6), 17lb 6oz and Gordon Jones (peg 5), 15lb.
