Defeat for Banwell & Churchill

Banwell & Churchill started the new season with a defeat against Easton-in-Gordano.

Banwell and Churchill Cricket Club started their season on Sunday with a friendly against Easton-in Gordano.

They gained some much-needed early season practice in a match which saw them by 27 runs.

Easton-in-Gordano batting first scored 163 runs in their alloted 40 overs, with Banwell being bowled out for 136.
