Derby demolition for Weston

Weston defeated North Somerset 43-19 in the Somerset Super Darts League.
WESTON travelled to North Somerset in the Somerset Super Darts League and came away with a commanding 43-19 victory.
With Weston flying high at the top of the division, they were looking to get off to a good start, which Mike Norton (26.04) obliged with a 4-1 victory.
On board two, debutant Gary Deakin (22.59) kicked off his first-ever super league game with a 4-1 win, which was swiftly followed by Martin Vanedgemesiter (22.49) winning 4-3 and Paul Tyler (21.30) 4-2.
Board one carried on the winning ways with Paul Griffiths (4-1), followed by Ricky Harding (24.10) 4-0, still not losing a leg this season and returning back to the fold, Weston legend George Turnbull (22.32) 4-0.
Meanwhile on board two, Weston dropped two games to North Somerset before Chris Coumis sealed his first win for the team (4-1).
Weston were already victors with a dominant performance finished off by Rich Harris (22.44) and another of Weston’s long serving players turning in a stirling performance winning 4-0 with a 24.86 average was Ian Cope.
Weston’s KNC man of the match went to Mike Norton.
180s were hit by Chris Coumis and Norton. The next game is away to Yeovil on February 7, bus leaves 49 Club @ at 6.30pm.
