District League finish short against the Central League

The Weston & District Skittle League came up short in their match against the Centreal League.

LIKE the first game against the Central League, the District team came up short against the Wrington Vale team.

The first set went down by 15 pins, top dog in this set was N Wait of the Vale with 52, while for the District, Phil Hucker scored 45. In the second set, the District had two players with 49, but came up short by nine pins, mainly because of Steve Hucker who hit an excellent 71.

The third set belonged to the Vale team winning it by 18 pins. Top score for the District was Andy Collard with 47, while D Buck hit 50 and M Rudge hit 59 for the Vale.

Some cheery news came in the last set as the District won by five pins, with Nathan Millett top scoring with 48 and the same score for A Machin of the Vale.
