A postponed match for Cheddar gave the side a break from their heavy schedule of matches in recent weeks.

CHEDDAR’S game at Calne Town unfortunately fell victim to the weather, but the enforced break gave the manager and the team the opportunity to take a breather from their heavy schedule of games in recent weeks.

The Cheesemen have been on something of a roll of late and are currently sitting on top of the league, for the first time since their promotion to the Toolstation Western League Division One in 2012.

Meanwhile, Cheddar play at Warminster Town on Saturday in the Les Phillips League Cup before travelling to Wellington for a midweek (league) match on Wednesday (7.45pm), before returning to Bowdens Park for their next home league match on November 21 against their old Somerset League adversaries, Oldland Abbotonians.

Cheddar has been nominated the Toolstation Western League Division One team of the month for October.
