Yatton Diamonds Under-15 player Esme Bird has been picked for the RFU’s National Talent Development Group.
FOLLOWING the completion of the divisional programme, Esme Bird has been selected for the RFU’s Under-15 National Talent Development Group.
Prop Esme and second row Rebecca Hammond, were both selected to represent the South West after a successful county championship for Somerset.
Both girls play for Yatton Diamonds, and helped the South West finish in second place, after beating the North and Midlands, before losing to London in the final game.
Yatton Diamonds currently run two sides at Under-18 and 15 age groups. Any new or existing players who are interested in joining a fun and friendly side, please contact head coach Stuart Lusted on 07771 517322.
