WESTON Aerobic Gymnastic Club sent six of their best gymnasts to the UEG age group championships at the European training camp in Italy and were understandably delighted when the 15-17 age group trio picked up the bronze medal. This is only the second time of competing for the trio, Rachel Harvey, Sadie Berry and Katherine Saunders, who won a gold at their first national com-petition, so to collect a bronze at their first International shows excellent potential for the future. The 12-14 age groups trio Gemma Barnfield, Trina Rose and Kirsty Harvey also competed at their first international competition to come fifth. The gymnasts and the rest of the British team then trained for a week in the superb facilities provided by their Italian hosts.
