WESTON have signed former Swindon centre back Tom Evans on a non-contract basis.
The 19-year-old stopper was brought in as defensive cover following the 5-3 defeat at Dover.
In that game manager Andy Gurney was forced to play the makeshift partnership of forward Marc McGregor and Eric Laboriuex, who was later released.
Gurney said: "We missed both our centre backs against Dover and Tom will give us more strength at the back."
Meanwhile, Gurney says midfielder Leon Jeanne still has a future at the club after he was sent on a month's loan to Welsh second division club Maesteg Park.
Gurney said: "We knew it would be difficult to get him match fit and he only had a few games in pre-season, so we've sent him somewhere he'll get some game time."
Striker Josh Klein-Davis has left the Woodspring Stadium to join Weymouth on a free transfer.
