AN EVENT featuring some top sports stars has been postponed.
McCoy’s Premier League stars Simon Whitlock and James Wade were due to head to the Winter Gardens in Weston this weekend.
Organisers this week said: “Due to unforeseen circumstances beyond anyone’s control, the Four Nations Masters event has been postponed until later in the year.
“The event will now be held on September 12 at Hutton Moor Leisure Centre.
“All ticket holders will be refunded in full. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the postponement, which was unavoidable. Details of the rearranged event will be announced in due course.”
Any Mercury entries to win tickets to this event will be now entered into a draw when the event is staged in September.
