THE successful Brean Easter Hockey Festival men's section was won by Monkey Magic, from Crewe, who won six and drew one of their eight games.
THE successful Brean Easter Hockey Festival men's section was won by Monkey Magic, from Crewe, who won six and drew one of their eight games. Crusaders, from Worcestershire, were second with five wins and third were local side Torpids, with four wins and a draw.
In the ladies' section, winners were Waftys from Leek in Staffordshire with four wins and a draw from their five games, second were the Bees, from Bedford, with three wins and a draw, while in third were Gin'll Fix It, from Winscombe.
The veterans' section was won by Knots, from Worcestershire, with three wins and a draw from their four games. Second were another Worcestershire side, Crusaders, with two wins and two draws, and third were local side Hasbreans, with two wins.
