Twelve-year-old Finn Bass from Wedmore reached the finals of a national tennis event.
A JUNIOR tennis player from Wedmore was put through his paces after taking part in the Lawn Tennis Association’s (LTA) national Talent ID Finals at the Bolton Arena.
Finn Bass, aged 12, was one of 80 youngsters from across the country invited to the session. The players showed off their skills in front of the LTA Talent ID team, who were aiming to spot future performance players.
Finn, who is part of the AEGON FutureStars scheme and attends Millfield School, said: “I’ve been to the Talent ID days a few times now and they are always a lot of fun. We do lots of drills and then play matches – I learn quite a lot. Hopefully it will help me improve as a tennis player.”
