Wedmore tennis player Finn Bass has reached the quarter-finals of the Nike Junior National Tennis Championships at Nottingham Tennis Centre.
JUNIOR tennis player Finn Bass from Wedmore, has progressed to the quarter-finals of the Under-16 boy’s singles tournament at the Nike Junior Tennis Championships at Nottingham Tennis Centre, after defeating Buckinghamshire’s Barnaby Smith 3-0 before Smith retired.
Bass will now face Ben Draper from Surrey in the quarter-finals which took place yesterday (Wed).
Finn said: “It’s obviously good to get through to the next round, but I have only played three games. I just have to focus on the next match and make sure I’m ready for my match tomorrow.”
