WESTON Football Club announce that as the club has to meet expenses by visiting teams for pre-season friendlies, admission for the games involving Bristol Rovers, Taunton Town, Telford United, Swansea City, Bishops Cleeve and Weymouth, will be £7 for adults, £4 for seniors and students and £2 for under 16s.In view of the closeness of fixtures and the cost, a four-match season ticket will be available for £20 for adults, £10 for seniors and students and £5 for under-16s for the games involving Bristol Rovers, Telford, Swansea and Weymouth.Application forms are now available from the bar or the office for season tickets. The cost for the season will be £125 for adults, £80 for seniors and students (proof required) and £45 for juniors. These concessionary prices are available until June 30.Ticket prices for the new season are £8 for adults, £5.50 for seniors and students and £3 for under-16s.The league season starts on Saturday, August 12 and fixture lists are due the week commencing July 3.At the league's annual meeting, attended by Weston club chairman Paul Bliss, it was agreed to postpone for a year the deadline for ground grading improvements. This gives the club time to get the money in place, so is good news. The Board of the club may decide to proceed with some of the lower cost items to reduce the burden next summer.
