The season may now be two games in, but Weston are still bolstering their squad, ahead of Saturday’s match at St Albans City.
The Seagulls have not had the best start to the season, after they were narrowly-beaten 2-1 by Poole Town and then lost 2-0 away at Hungerford Town.
Weston travel to Clarence Park, hoping to seal their first league win of the season.
The club announced yesterday (Tuesday) that Archie Collins has joined the club on loan from League Two side Exeter City.
Collins can play up front, on either flank and in central midfield and has been described as ‘as versatile as Jake Mawford’.
The 17-year-old signed his first professional contract back in April and is now hoping to get a taste of first team football after playing for the Grecians’ under-18s, under-21s and reserve sides.

Collins said: “I am very pleased to be on loan at Weston.
“This club has a great bunch of footballers as well as an understanding staff.
“This will give me a experience and a platform from which I can progress my footballing career.”
Assistant manager Rob Boyd added: “Archie is a good footballer, his style suits the type of football Macca (Marc McGregor) is looking to play.
“He is brave on the ball and will hopefully open opposition teams up and create a few chances for us.”
