Young referee Benjamin Meakin was awarded the Weston and District League’s Referee’s Merit Award after officiating in the Robert Keyes Cup final at Bowdens Park.

Uphill Castle Under-18s promising young goalkeeper Benjamin Meakin will put his playing commitments on the backburner next season in order to devote more time to refereeing.

The talented shot stopper is pictured being presented with the Weston and District League’s Referee’s Merit Award by chairperson Heather Drinkwater after officiating in the Robert Keyes Cup final at Bowdens Park.
