Weston-super-Mare head coach Scott Bartlett has today (Friday) announced two new signings and the departure of four players.

Striker Jamie Bird and midfielder Lloyd Humphries have both signed on a 93-day loan from SkyBet Championship side Cardiff City.

The two are regulars in Cardiff’s development squad but will be unable for selection until they receive international clearance, which the club are hopeful will be in time for tomorrow’s match at Oxford City.

This comes just hours after the club announced experienced defender Chris Barker would be joining Bartlett in both a playing role and as his assistant head coach.

However, four players have now left The Woodspring Stadium, including defenders Ollie Barnes and Zemell Burton.

Midfielder Darren Mullings is also departing but has signed for Gloucester City.

Striker Eliot Richards has made the move to Merthyr Town FC having failed to score in the league for this Seagulls.

Jordan Williams will be joining Mangotsfield Utd on-loan to gain more first team experience.

A statement from the club said:”We wish them all the best in their careers.”
