Cheddar are back in league action on Saturday after last week’s match was postponed because of a fixture pile-up.

Cheddar were without a game at the weekend after their game was postponed.

Due to travel to Hardenhuish Park to play Chippenham Park in Division 1 of the Toolstation Western League, the game was moved to Tuesday night, as their opponents’s landlords Chippenham Town had a home Buildbase FA Trophy third qualifying round tie with Wingate and Finchley.

On Saturday, Cheddar entertain Devizes Town (3pm) in more Division 1 action.

Cheddar Reserves secured the Uhlsport Somerset County League’s result of the weekend when they recorded a resounding 4-0 victory over a visiting Middlezoy Rovers Reserves side, who started the day top of Division 3.

Goals from captain Adam Davies, Robbi Maggs (2) and Harry Hughes meant that Cheddar move to the division’s summit themselves as a consequence of the victory.

On Saturday, the Reserves travel to Stockwood Green Reserves (2pm) in more Division 3 action.

Cheddar A were also without a game at the weekend.

On Saturday, they entertain Locking Park (1.45pm) in the second round of the Weston and District League’s Douglas Atwell Memorial Shield.

Cheddar Ladies went down 2-1 at home to Draycott in Division 2 of the Somerset County Women’s League, with Pring Abigail scoring the only goal.

On Sunday, the ladies entertain Porlock (2pm) in more Division 2 action.
