Weston Crusaders Under-15s reached the quarter-finals of the cup after defeating Banwell 6-1.

Weston Crusaders Under-15s kicked off 2017 with a cup match at home to Banwell, running out 6-1 winners.

Snedds calmly slotted away a penalty early on, before Charlie put Archie through for number two. James and Charlie both hit the post, while Jake and Ethan both went close as chances were squandered in the first-half, interrupted by a head injury to Ben.

Aidan crossed for Archie to nod in his second after the break and Archie got two more to take his tally to four for the match, before Ethan nodded in Snedds’ pinpoint corner.

Banwell pulled one back before the end as a long-range effort looped over Harry to make the final score 6-1, seeing Crusaders through to the quarter-finals.

Man of the match, sponsored by Wayne Coombes Decorating, went to James Morris.
