CUP holders Medivale started slowly against the White Hart in this semi-final, but soon got into their stride when Troy Hayes fired them in front.

Callum McManus doubled the lead from the penalty spot and Hayes scored again to put Medivale 3-0 up. But Hart scored to pull the score back, but with Hayes completing his hat-trick and also grabbing his fourth, it was literally over as a contest.

Further goals from Brayer, Andy Hayes and debutant Elliot Wood increased the score, but when Medivale were awarded a penalty, it was 46-year-old Mouse Young who shuffled up to fire home.

Medivale will now meet BFC in the final in what promises to be a cracking game and a good advert for the Weston Sunday League.

Results – Cup semi-finals: Clevedon Crusaders 2, BFC 4; Medivale 12, White Hart 2.

League: South Park 2, Woodspring 10; Weston Spartans 3, BBH 7.

Fixtures: BBH v Clevedon Crusaders at Burnham; BFC v South Park at Berrow; Medivale v Woodspring Park Rangers (St Johns pitch 1); White Hart v Stotties (Priory).
