Truro City 3 Clevedon United 0UNITED took a depleted side, made up of youth players and reserves, to meet league championship favourites Truro, who average eight goals in their home games, and although beaten, gave a superb performance.Watched by almost 500 people, the home side started on top and opened the scoring on 10 minutes when Andy Watkins beat keeper Mark Sellway and they soon added a second through former Plymouth Argyle player Stewert Yetton, and later Truro added a third.Speaking after the game, United's player-manager Andy Llewellyn said: "With so many players missing, we never had a chance. I used youngsters and reserve team players and what a battle they put up."In the end, we are the only team to go there and give them a game, and coming away only losing 3-0 was a good result. I can't wait for the return game, it should be interesting.
