Football fundays lined up for Easter holidays

SOMERSET Sports Services are again providing football fundays during the Easter holidays. The days run from 9am to 3pm and cost just £9 per day.Dates and venues are Mendip Green School, Weston, on April 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7; Mary Elton School, Clevedon, on April 4, 5 and 6; Nailsea Comprehensive School on April 6, 7, 10, 11 and 12; and Ashcombe School, Weston, on April 10, 11, 12, 13 and 18.Children need to be aged between six and 12-years-old and will be coached by FA qualified staff.Prizes and competitions will be a feature of the day and scouts from Bristol City and Bristol Rovers will be in attendance looking for the next David Beckham.Bookings and further details can be obtained by calling Lee Veale on 07782 171953.As part of North Somerset Council's commitment to grass roots football, FA tutor and UEFA coach Lee Veale has been appointed as a regional community coach."The aim of the role is to support all aspects of football in North Somerset. I am keen to hear from local junior clubs who would like assistance with their training sessions. There are no costs involved for the clubs, as my time is funded by North Somerset Council," Mr Veale explained.He can be contacted on the above number.
