Locking Park won away against Wedmore to extend their unbeaten run in the league.

In difficult conditions, the start of the game was a bit scrappy, but Park took the lead on 18 minutes when Mitch Corrick ran through the middle, passed to Green who curled in a brilliant opening goal.

Ten minutes later it was 2-0, playmaker Ash Towler hitting one from the edge of the box which lobbed over the home keeper. Wedmore got one back just before half-time with a penalty to make it 2-1.

In the second half, Park started brightly, going 3-1 up after a Harry Hornigold through ball found Green who controlled and finished calmly. A minute later Hornigold got another assist, hitting a ball across the box for Ross Radford to tap in.

Ten minutes later Hornigold deservedly got on the score sheet, good work by Radford and Green set up Hornigold to make it 5-1.

Park looked to be cruising, but Wedmore were not going to roll over, getting back to 5-2 after converting a one-on-one. The home team pressed on getting two more goals making 5-4 before the final whistle was blown.

An exciting game with lots of goals showing the best and worst of Locking Park this season, and taking nothing away from Wedmore.

CES man of the match went to the hard-working Mitch Corrick.
