WESTON Football Club announce that leading scorer of two seasons ago with 16 goals, Marc McGregor has put pen to paper for the new season.This is good news for the fans, as McGregor, who spent last season with Conference North outfit Hinkley United, was hugely popular both on and off the pitch. He will be joined by other new signings Ben Kirk and Garry Thorne from Chippenham Town and Craig Loxton from Clevedon Town.Of last season's squad, Darren Hawkins, John Williams, Sam Bailey, Scott Walker, Craig Rand, Marvin Brown, Matt Rose, Craig Mawford, Ryan Northmore and Lee Jarman have all re-signed.Dave Lee, assistant to Frank Gregan, has landed the reserve /youth team manager's job at Swindon Town.Frank has appointed Mike Kilgour, recently with Paulton Rovers, as his replacement. 'Killer' is well known at the club, having played for the Seagulls. He was previously Gregan's assistant at Forest Green Rovers for three years.Mark McKeever, Lewis Hogg and Andy Robinson have gone elsewhere and the club wishes them well for their futures.On Tuesday, Football League Swansea City will be on parade at Woodspring Stadium (7.45pm).For this game, music will be provided by the Air Cadets Band and there will be a display by the Royal Marines Unarmed Display Team.
