THE new manager of Weston FC, Tony Ricketts, will be sending out his first starting line-up next month against Coca Cola Championship outfit Plymouth Argyle.The Pilgrims will be providing Weston with their first pre-season test, visiting Woodspring Stadium on Wednesday, July 11 (kick off, 7.30pm).Plymouth boss Ian Holloway is also looking forward to the clash. He said: "I'm delighted we're kicking off our pre-season campaign in Weston, it's a Weston-super place to go."We've been looking forward to the fixture ever since we knew we'd be starting off at the Woodspring Stadium. I am very impressed with the facilities. The pitch looks great and the North Stand is a credit to the club."Let's hope both clubs can look forward to having something to celebrate at the end of the 2007-08 campaign."Tony Ricketts added: "The visit of Plymouth is a fitting way to start a new era at Woodspring Stadium for the club, players and management team."It will be the first and most difficult game of our pre season programme and I have no doubt Plymouth will give us a good workout. It will only benefit our players' fitness prior to the commencement of our Blue Square Conference South season."I would also like to thank Ian publicly and Plymouth Argyle for travelling to Weston and wish them every success in the Championship next season"Admission prices for this eagerly anticipated pre-season match are as follows: Adults: £8.50. OAPs & Students: £5.50. Children under 16: £3. Children under five go free.Weston's match against Salisbury City, who were promoted to the Conference (National) after winning the play-off final at the end of last season will be played 72 hours after the Plymouth match, on Saturday, July 14 (kick off, 3pm). Admission prices will be: Adults: £7. OAPs & Students: £4. Children Under 16: £4. Children under five go free.
