WESTON Football Club wish to remind supporters they are offering four-match season tickets to cover attractive pre-season friendlies. These games involve Bristol Rovers on Thursday, July 13 (7.45pm) who have promised to bring a a full-strength squad, AFC Telford on Saturday, July 22 (3pm), Swansea City on Tuesday, July 25 (7.45pm), who also promise to bring a strong squad, and Weymouth, newly promoted to the Nationwide Conference, on Friday, August 4 (7.45pm). Cost will be £20 for adults, £10 for seniors and students and £5 for under-16s. Single admission will be £7 for adults, £4 for seniors and students and £2 for under 16s.Other friendlies arranged by the club are against Bishops Cleeve at home on Friday, July 28 (7.45pm) and away against Yate Town on Saturday, August 5 (3pm) when admission prices will be as above for single games.Weston kick-off their Conference South season with an away trip to Welling United in South-East London on Saturday, August 12 and the following Wednesday (16) the Seagulls have their first home game when they entertain Dorchester Town (7.45pm). Fisher Athletic, from the London Docklands, are back on the fixture list after winning promotion from the Ryman League, and will provide the opposition on August 19 (3pm) at the Woodspring Stadium. The following Tuesday (22), Weston will be at Basingstoke Town (7.45pm) and on August 26 (3pm) they are again on their travels, to Eastbourne Borough in Sussex.Weston end August on Bank Holiday Monday when newly-promoted from the Southern Premier League Bedford Town will be visitors (3pm).Friday, September 1, sees Weston at Havant and Waterlooville in Hampshire (7.45pm) and on Saturday (9) another London-based side Thurrock will be in town (3pm).On Tuesday, September 12, Weston will again be in London to face Sutton United, hoping to make it three wins in a row at Gander Green Lane (7.45pm), and on the following Saturday, September 16, newly promoted Braintree Town from Essex pay a first visit for many years.Old rivals Newport County are sure to bring a large following with them on Wednesday, September 20 (7.45pm) and on the following Saturday (23), Weston will again be in London to face Hayes. Weston finish the month on Saturday the 30th with a second qualifying FA Cup game against opponents yet to be decided.
