Weston St Johns 0 Biddestone 5AFTER an evenly matched first half, the Saints capitulated to allow Biddestone to score five times in an amazing second period.Saints dominated the opening exchanges and were unlucky to see a James Wotton header crash against the upright, a Rob Salmon free kick well saved, and a fierce drive by Richard Parks go just wide. Saints were also defending well, but were indebted to keeper Mat Jakeman who made an excellent save to prevent the Wiltshire side opening the scoring. For the third successive game, the Saints reached the break with a blank scoresheet, but no one could have predicted the second period.Good fortune favoured the visitors when a shot from the edge of the box was tipped on to the post by Jakeman, but the ball ran nicely to Joe Ochuto to easily tap in. Dan Lardner quickly added a second with a quality near-post header, and when Ryan Trowbridge added a third, the Saints knew it was not their day. Larder bagged his second, and to complete the misery for the home side, a fifth goal was conceded when a cross from Nicholls swerved dramatically in the wind to outfox Jakeman.
