Six-a-side league in Clevedon

SOCCERSIXES, a company specialising in the organisation of small-sided football, are bringing a new FA affiliated six-a-side league to Clevedon and the surrounding community this month. The league will be based at the Swiss Valley Sports Centre Astroturf.

SOCCERSIXES, a company specialising in the organisation of small-sided football, are bringing a new FA affiliated six-a-side league to Clevedon and the surrounding community this month. The league will be based at the Swiss Valley Sports Centre Astroturf. The league will be launched by Lee Carsley who will be presenting the awards at the end of the season.The community league is scheduled to kick off January 28 and will run every Sunday from 5-8pm on the full-size Astroturf pitch which will be divided into two big six-a-side pitches. Teams will play an intense 30-minute match each week with a qualified referee. The league will cost just £2.50 per player and teams entering will have the chance to win a huge array of awards including trophies or cash for winners and runners-up, player of the season, and a fair play award. Teams will also have the opportunity of playing against other teams from leagues across England in Soccersixes' national cup. All matches are officiated by qualified referees while sixes staff will attend the league each week to ensure the smooth running of fixtures. All equipment will be provided.
