CLEVEDON Town have arranged a pre-season friendly with Football League newcomers Dagenham and Redbridge on July 21, Newport County (July 24) and Bitton away on July 31.The Somerset Premier Cup draw has been made and the club have been drawn at home to Bishop Sutton in the first round, with the winners playing away to either Paulton Rovers or Weston-super-Mare.Weston, meanwhile, have been reprieved from relegation from the Conference South and so won't be playing us in the Southern League next season after all. It looks like Cirencester Town may also be spared relegation but that is still to be determined.Phil Bater has announced details of the players who have been released by the club, and those who have already signed new contracts, along with a new signing and two great pre-season friendlies.Jack Pitcher has decided to leave the club and has signed a contract with Gloucester City. Jack was a prolific scorer for the Seasiders and hit 73 goals in 147 league and cup matches for the club.Prolific goalscorer Steve Cook has signed from Taunton Town and we welcome him to the club. The club are also delighted to announce that Geraint Bater, Danny Greaves, Danny Haines, Scott Hendy, Daine O'Connor, Mitchell Page, Rob Scott, Mike Symons and Mike Trought have all committed themselves to the club for the coming season.Phil Bater has released Matt Rawlins, Hanin Romhdane, Lee Vickerman and Pete Sheppard and we thank them all for their efforts last season and wish them well for the future.* Clevedon Town are now offering season tickets for their Southern League Premier Division season.If purchased prior to June 30, adult ground and grandstand tickets will cost £125, purchased after that date £135. For senior citizens and concessions to ground and grandstand £62, £70. Juniors, under 16 years, £10, £17.Single matches adults £8, senior citizens and concessions £5. Children under 16 years £1 all season (league games only).Concessions include all those of retirement age, anyone over 16 in full-time education and anyone in receipt of appropriate state benefit.The club retains the right to refuse to grant concession rates at its absolute discretion and all applications at this rate must include copies of valid documentation.Season tickets are valid for all Clevedon Town home league matches only. Season tickets are issued to a named person and are non transferable.
