Maidenhead United 0 Clevedon Town 5 CLEVEDON Town moved off the bottom of the Premier League table with this emphatic win at Maidenhead United. An early injury to defender Geraint Bater saw the introduction of Pete Sheppard and the tactical substitution of Jack Pitcher for Mitchell Page. This change unsettled the seasiders and enabled Maidenhead to rule the game for 35 minutes, but several fine saves by man of the match Danny Greaves kept the game goal-less. The visitors took a two-goal lead trough a Jack Pitcher lob, and a Pete Sheppard shot from outside the box. Manager Phil Bater changed to a 4-3-3 formation for the second half, and this gave Clevedon a better balanced side and thwarted the hosts' attacking ambitions. The move paid off after an hour with two goals by Pitcher and Leon Hapgood who scored with close-range tap-ins. This goal tally put a resurgent seasiders in command of the game and a late goal by substitute Tom Jacobs rounded off an excellent win.
