Wrexham will be the visitors to the Woodspring Stadium next month in the FA Cup first round.

The Welsh side beat Harrogate Town 2-0 at the Racecourse Ground last night (Tuesday) and booked themselves a trip to face Weston.

The sides had drawn 0-0 on Saturday, meaning a replay was required.

Two second-half goals for Wrexham were enough to secure their place in the first round.

The FA Cup draw on Monday night handed Weston a home tie, albeit a tough one with both Wrexham and Harrogate in the top four of the National League.

With Weston at the foot of the National League South, the Seagulls will start as underdogs.

But the magic of the cup will give Weston hope, who booked their place in the main competition for the first time in four years when they defeated Bath City on Saturday.

Gethyn Hill’s strike was enough for a 1-0 victory, despite Bath enjoying a better league campaign thus far.

Ticket information and kick-off details will be announced in the coming days but all first-round ties will be played on November 9-12.
