Street Under-18s 1 Weston Under-18s 6WESTON kept their Somerset Floodlight Youth League Division 1 title hopes alive with an emphatic win at the Tannery Ground.Weston dominated the early exchanges with Jason Gustar, Tom Dancey and Jason Clarke going close, but their dominance did not tell until the 37th minute when Craig Mawford's through pass saw Jason Clarke lift the ball over Street keeper Bruce Stone.Weston increased their lead early in the second half when Street's Sean Burke lost possession in midfield and Clarke fed Matt Fisher who finished with a shot on the turn. Gustar made it three before slack Weston marking allowed Peter Archbold to reduce the deficit.Mike Rowcliffe set up Matt Fisher for the fourth on 83 minutes before Barry Sleeman won possession in midfield, allowing Jason Clarke to net the fifth with a fine solo effort.Gustar rounded off the scoring with his second and Weston's sixth after hard work by Craig Foley and Ross Millar allowed Weston's top scorer an opening.
