TICKENHAM Golf Club is holding free golf taster sessions for adults on the April 4, 3.30-4.30pm, April 5, 11am-12noon, April 6, 7, 9 and 16, 7-8pm.

TICKENHAM Golf Club is holding free golf taster sessions for adults on the April 4, 3.30-4.30pm, April 5, 11am-12noon, April 6, 7, 9 and 16, 7-8pm. They are also holding taster sessions for juniors on the April 6 and 7 from 10-11am, 11.30am-12.30pm, 2-3pm and 3.30-4.30pm and on April 16, 2 to 3pm and sessions specifically for girls and ladies on April 5, 10-11am.The taster sessions are open to beginners and non-members and provide an ideal opportunity to experience the game of golf. To book a lesson with a PGA professional, please telephone Tickenham Golf Club on 01275 856626. Golf clubs and balls are provided free of charge.Tickenham Golf Club will be holding coaching sessions during April for junior members and for juniors with learning and physical disabilities. Free Golf Coaching and the above activities are part of the club coaching initiative provided by the English Golf Union (EGU) and the English Women's Golf Association (EWGA). It is designed to help people of any age, gender or background to experience the game of golf. It is one of several initiatives jointly provided by the EGU and EWGA via England Golf's Whole Sport Plan for golf and is an integral part of England Golf's vision to Grow the Game.
