SNOOKER star Ronnie O’Sullivan lit up Weston when he played an exhibition charity match at Allstars Sports Bar.
The former world number one and three times snooker world champion, was joined by fellow professional Tony Drago for the special event that saw four lucky members of the audience get to play alongside the pair at the Regent Street club.
Craig Travers, one of the fortunate winners said it was an unforgettable experience. He said: “I could not believe my luck when I was drawn out, it was brilliant. I just tried to stay calm and pot some balls.”
Following the doubles matches, the pair played each other over nine frames with O’Sullivan – nicknamed ‘The Rocket’ – in stunning form as he compiled five century breaks. The games were overseen by glamorous female referee Michaela Tabb.
Pete Wallington, the bar’s owner, said the ‘fantastic’ night, which was supported by the Mercury, had helped raise hundreds of pounds for a breast cancer charity.
