George Davis Cup final victory for Alleycats

The Alleycats defeated Walnut B in the final of the Weston Central Skittles League George Davis Cup.

The Weston Central Skittles League George Davis Cup final took place at the Bristol Hotel between the Alleycats and Walnut B.

The Alleycats took an early lead by winning the first two sets by 14 pins, a low-scoring third set went the way of the Walnut by five pins. Now only nine pins down, they took the first two hands by 13 pins, but two spares by Dean Hazell and a spare from Robin Matthews in the next two hands was enough to secure victory by 21 pins for the Alleycats.
