Winscombe girls Under-15s continued their fine start to the season with victory in Caerphilly.
WINSCOMBE Under-15s girls celebrated a fine 35-12 away win over Caerphilly.
The hard-fought win was the latest in the team’s outstanding start to their first season in club rugby. With recent wins over Wells, Nelson, Minehead, Cleve and Old Richians, the girls travelled to South Wales to face an experienced and physical Caerphilly team.
A solid defence and some great running rugby saw Winscombe emerge as winners with a haul of seven converted tries.
