The team had five group games to play and did not lose one of them. Sally Cooling scored from a Sophie Marks corner kick for Mendip's first goal in their first game to give them a 1-0 win.

Mendip went through to the semi-final against Frome unbeaten and with a clean sheet. Hard work from Mendip kept Frome penned in their own half for most of the game until they finally got into Mendip's goalmouth where Emma Morgan and Charlotte Wilson stifled their attack, allowing Marks to run the ball back up to the halfway line where she passed to Onzia Lucas who beat a defender for Cooling to score her second goal of the tournament and take Mendip through to the final.
