Hornets girls Under-13s ran in 16 tries in an entertaining match at Winscombe.
HORNETTES girls’ Under-13s travelled to Winscombe and enjoyed a fine victory by 16 tries to 12.
The first-half was evenly matched with both teams scoring plenty of tries. There was some strong running and great tackling from the Hornettes, whose rucking and mauling has improved no end.
The second half saw Winscombe pull away as the Hornettes tired, but there was still plenty of good rugby on display from both teams.
